01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Four Seasons, the sky lounge at Hotel New Otani Osaka, is a place to enjoy a drink with a view of Osaka Castle. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the night scenery, making it easy to linger over cocktails, wine and light bites. One visitor recalled enjoying a strawberry cocktail made to their taste. The listed drinks include classics and wines, alongside Mai Tais, Mojitos and Scotch Highballs. You could arrive with a drink in mind, or ask the bartender for a suggestion.

For a small snack, there are mixed nuts, assorted cheeses and beef jerky. If you’d like something more substantial, the menu also offers creamy tomato and crab penne, a house salsa pizza and takoyaki. One guest who opted for a free-flow package enjoyed smoked salmon, chilled roast pork, slider dogs and French fries with salt and truffle flavouring. They found the food on the light side, but their experience offers one option for an evening focused on drinks.

Views of Osaka Castle and Osaka-jō Hall from the windows give the lounge a natural appeal for an evening drink. The menu also includes mocktails and soft drinks, so those not drinking alcohol can choose a drink of their own.
